WHAT WE VALUE
LOVE
1 John 4:19-21 1 Corinthians 13 John 13:34-35
God loved us first. Extravagantly. He is love. Now, we can love Him, ourselves and those around us with this powerful, unconditional, unending love. Love never fails. He has made a way for us through the costly work of Christ.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR FATHER
Acts 17:28 John 6:68 John 14:15-17
Our Father has done everything through the work of Jesus Christ to redeem us back to Him. He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us in all things and so we can have fellowship with Him always. From the very beginning He has pursued relationship and fellowship with us. It is what we are here for.
PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
1 Chronicles 16:11 Exodus 33:14 1 Corinthians 12:7
In His presence there is fulness of joy and life. We give our attention when we feel His Spirit moving and speaking. We love His presence. The anointing breaks the yokes.
WORSHIP
Psalm 100 John 4:23-24 Romans 12:1-2
The God of all creation has fully redeemed us and set us free. He is beautiful. He is magnificent. He is glorious. He is worthy and we will lift Him up in worship through music, our energy, resources, creativity, our hearts and our lives. Worship is the back and forth flow of the Fathers love towards us and our response towards Him. It is in worship where we are fully content and fulfilled.
FAMILY & COMMUNITY
Hebrews 10:24-25 Romans 12:4-5 Psalm 133:1
We have such a Good Father. A relational God who delights in families and the love between them. We aim to model Him by cultivating healthy, kingdom-minded families. Spirit, soul and body. We are members of one Body, lifting each other up, encouraging, learning from each other and enjoying the gift of these relationships as a true blessing from our Father to be enjoyed.
MIRACLES, SIGNS & WONDERS
Hebrews 2:4 Mark 16:17 – 18 Acts 14:3
These signs will follow those who believe – we will drive out demons, heal the sick, set the captives free and much more. We value God’s supernatural ways and seeing His grace and healing power at work. We hope to always grow in being active agents of His love and power on the earth, today, so we may see His Kingdom come. On earth as it is in Heaven.
GENEROSITY
John 3:16 James 1:17 Matthew 7:11
For God so loved that He gave. Giving comes naturally to God. It’s His nature. Freely we have received, freely we will give. We aim to give of ourselves extravagantly. In our finances, energy, resources and time. Generosity is what happens when thankfulness meets opportunities to give.
IDENTITY
2 Corinthians 4:6 – 7 Galatians 2:20 Ephesians 3:17-19
We value knowing who we are in Christ and continually moving towards complete health and wholeness in spirit, soul and body. We are children of the Living God, a royal priesthood. The same Spirit that raised Him from death now lives in us. Through His grace and power we live and move. I long to see people come to this realisation of their worth and that they are powerful and loved.
FREEDOM
2 Corinthians 3:17 John 8:36 Galatians 5:13 – 14
Christ has set us free and we cultivate freedom. We are no longer enslaved. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. By His grace we are free to choose and to choose well.
GROWTH
Ephesians 4:13 – 15 1 Corinthians 3:1 – 2 2 Thessalonians 1: 3
We grow and engage in this process the moment we say ‘yes’ to Him. We do not remain stagnant. We run the race of faith. We are moving forward. We continue to grow as individuals and as a body. We have grace for ourselves and for one another as we embrace His processes.
HONOUR
1 Peter 2:9 Romans 8:17 Romans 3:22
We give honour because we have been made honourable through the work of Jesus Christ. We aim to cultivate a culture of mutual honour, love & respect where the truth of who we are is called out instead of the lies the enemy wants to proclaim over people.
PRAYER
1 John 5 : 14 – 15 2 Chronicles 7:14 Ephesians 6:18
We have a Father who hears us. We speak His life into situations and circumstances. His Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. One thing we are certainly encouraged and called to do, as believers, is to pray.
