In 2008 the Lord spoke to me (Sandra) about starting an early morning, weekly meeting for women with the name Spirit Fitness, because we needed to emphasise a life walking in and being led by the Holy Spirit as in Romans 8. This would become an extension of our existing ministry, Love Decided Ministries.
Ushering in God’s presence, and growing and strengthening each other on our journey with Christ became strong themes during every meeting. Throughout the years, I’ve shared what the Lord shared with me. We grew in our times of worship, the word, prayer, prophecy and everything in between. We washed each other’s feet, had numerous weekend retreats, and hosted some of South Africa’s most beautiful and anointed speakers. But most of all, we spent time with our King and Lord.
The Lord continues to bless us with new friends and family every week. Our aim has always been to grow in maturity in Christ and Matthew 6:10 - “Let Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”
What started out as a women’s ministry, has expanded and we now have men joining on occasion. I am humbled, honoured and thankful to have such a beautiful and rich Spirit Fitness family. We will continue to do Life in the Holy Spirit together as we press on towards the prize of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One.
